Kenton Rogers

Ambassador ~ Evangelist ~ Recording Artist

Kenton Rogers, The Prince of God’s Unconditional Love, is most certainly a priceless jewel to the body of Christ. This Paterson, New Jersey native, who presently resides in New York, NY and Huntington, WV, is one of the most prolific and charismatic amongst preachers, teachers and singers today. At the age of seventeen, while a member of the St. Matthew B.C. in Jersey City, NJ under the leadership of The Late Reverend Luther G. Johnson, he preached his initial sermon. After a unanimous vote by over 600 attendees, he received his license to the Gospel Preaching Ministry and a few years later, was ordained.

This Ambassador for Christ is the Pastor of New Species Church of Harlem and simultaneously serves on the field of evangelism as an itinerant preacher/teacher, inclusive of his music ministry, conducting revivals, crusades, conferences, workshops and concerts under Kenton Rogers Ministries, of which he is president and founder. This anointed man of God is certainly not a novice, with over 25 years of experience. He has respectfully served the body of Christ during various seasons of his life in the capacity of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher, and has planted several churches. With a Bachelor of Biblical Studies from North Carolina College of Theology, he is now simultaneously working on his Masters Degree in Biblical Studies, as well as his Certifications as a Nutrition Consultant and Group Fitness Instructor. It is evident Kenton’s ministry is holistic in its approach, equipping adults and the young to prosper and be in good health spirit, mind and body.

In addition to the aforementioned, Kenton is preparing for the  upcoming  release of new single titled “I Need You.” It is produced and written by, his godson, Anthony Ponder, as well as featuring his godson’s group, Ministry’s Desire; and a 2012 “Live” Recording. He is presently taking time to work on a very dear and sentimental project titled “Passionately…In Loving Memory Of…”, featuring Kenton covering, with his unique signature style, songs such as Revelation by Third Day, East To West by Casting Crowns, You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban, Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone) by Chris Tomlin, Lord Have Mercy by Michael W. Smith.  Also included are classics My Soul Has been Anchored In The Lord by Douglas Miller and Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel, just to name a few.  This historic compilation is destined to be a keepsake as some of Kenton’s family members, personal friends and supporters have joined him in support of this project In Loving Memory Of his mother, The Late Albertha Rogers.

For six consecutive years he has performed “LIVE” on the Jerry Lewis M.D.A. Labor Day Telethon.  He left New York hosts Tony Orlando and Russ Salsburg, as well as studio and television viewers, inspired and in awe.  Kenton’s most recent single, “Confession of a Preacha Man”, released independently, is thought provoking, brilliantly profound, and continues to spark conversations amongst the churched and the un-churched. “Confession of a Preacha Man”, is also the title the fictional trilogy authored by Kenton, which you should be expect to be picked up by a publishing company.  It will be the topic of discussion on many television and radio talk shows, in the near future.

Kenton Rogers first made his debut on the nationwide scene in 1992 on Melvin Williams’ project, “Live! In Living Color.”  They performed the duet “Time Is Running Out”. After which, he signed with Blackberry Records and in 1993 released his freshman solo project, “Just Look At Me”, which yielded the classic and still popular “God Has Never Failed Me”.  In 1996 he released his sophomore solo project, “Alive & Pressin’ On”, featuring gospel superstars Albertina Walker, The Williams Brothers, Paul Porter and The Late Willie Neal Johnson.  This blessed him with standout selections, “Jesus Will Fix It”, “Hold To God’s Unchanging Hand”, “Help Me Lord”, “I Wanna Go”, “Faithful” and “Gotta Keep Pressin.”

Once in a while someone comes along that stands out from all the rest.  One who has already given of himself in many areas and has lent his talents to help others along the way. Kenton is one of those rare occurrences. With his persona, which is effervescent, captivating and flexible, in and out of the pulpit, on and off the stage, he is bridging the gap and crossing barriers, as he is generating dialogue between people of diverse ethnic, cultural, social and economic backgrounds --- he is sure to be going strong for quite a while.

Lynntesha Roberts

Singing God's praises comes natural for this Songstress of the South.  Lynntesha hails from the prettiest little town of Dixie, Cheraw, SC.  Currently, she resides in the Headland, Alabama with her husband, Edward Henley.  Lynntesha’s music ministry is comprised of a rich mixture of diverse gospel sounds. Lynntesha has been singing since the tender age of three, when her first song was “Here, Comes Peter Cottontail” sang at an Easter Day Program.  From that moment forward, many knew she was destined to sing the high praises of God. There was something different in the anointing and spirit Lynntesha possessed.  Lynntesha had been touring in Atlanta, GA, when she founded the group D’Vyne Faith in 1996, while serving in the US Navy.  They now accompany her in the surrounding states spreading the Word through an assortment of songs from old familiars such as 'I Feel Good' and 'Stand By Me'  to songs written by Lynntesha, such as “Depending On You” and “Stay In Your Lane," the title tracks from both her debut and sophomore projects.  She is playfully known to some as "Little Dorothy Norwood."   She has sung along with such greats as Slim and the Supremes Angels, The Gospel 4, Dottie Peoples, William Murphy, and The Canton Spirituals.  Many compare her presence and power-house voice to Vickie Winans. Having several styles of influence, Lynntesha’s musical arrangements are known to sway from traditional to quartet, contemporary to jazz, inspirational to neo-soul with a twist of Caribbean flavor.  But don’t fret, “TRUE” gospel is her passion.

Up and down the Eastern Seaboard, through the Midwest, Lynntesha has ministered for Women’s Conference and Gospel Explosions, which includes GNTV, Bobby Jones and Atlanta’s own WATC Atlanta Live Gospel television show. She was named the 2003 New York City Music Festival( Manhattan, NY) Female Quartet Leader of the Year. Lynntesha’s ministry has taken her into many venue types, including the Clifton Davis Talent Showcase, Sweet Auburn Fest, and the Praise1040 Spring Fests, . George Dean and the Gospel Four, Harvey Watkins and the Canton Spirituals, Slim and the Supreme Angles are some of her favorites quartets where she has been the opener for over the past 14 years.

Although the trials and tribulations seemed great when Lynntesha was recalled to active duty by the US Navy in late 2004, she knew this had to be a call on her life from the most high. Having just released her first solo project entitled "Depending OnYou", things were going well.  However, she was quickly up rooted to travel to the Middle East. While there, Lynntesha didn't lose sight of what the Lord had always intended for her ministry, which was, and stil is, Spreading the Word of God through song. Being in the Middle East was going to give her the opportunity to do that WORLDWIDE. She quickly took advantage of every opportunity she had to sing praises unto her Father on High. Having joined the choir, then a group called "Total Praise", she was recognized as an outstanding leader and asked the lead the newly developed Praise and Worship team under the leadership of Lt. Col. Herring.  This wasn't viewed as challenge for her because she knew God was leading her into her appointed destiny.

Since returning from the Middle East, Lynntesha has focused her heart and ministry on pleasing God and not man.  She is making sure to honor God and give him constant praise and glory.  In August 2008, Lynntesha accepted her call into the ministry of Evangelism, teaching and preaching God’s word.  She does so every time she gets a chance.  With her sophomore project entitled “Stay In Your Lane. Stop Swerving,” Lynntesha has taken her music ministry to the next level.  She hopes to continue to spread God's word all over the world.  There is no stopping this Powerhouse Singer! Yes, this anointed woman of the God is a must SEE, and definitely one from which you will HEAR much more!

THE GOLDEN LAMBS

Gospel Concert Enterprise was instrumental in securing The Golden Lambs performance on THE REGGIE GAY SHOW in Atlanta, GA in January of 2012.

The Golden Lambs is a gospel group from Birmingham Alabama that consist of seven brothers, (Ocie Battle Jr., Robert Battle Sr., Kenneth Battle, Ronald Battle, Jeffery Battle, Sidney Battle & Burr Battle). Completing the group is the son of Ocie Battle Jr. (Ocie Battle III.)

This group has been electrifying audiences over the years and has shared the stage with such greats as, The Mighty Clouds, Shirley Caesar, The Williams Brothers, The Canton Spirituals and many more. Consisting of four Pastors and four ministers, this group of brothers knows the importance of placing God first in all they do from the music, lyrics all the way down to the name....

This name "The Golden Lambs" is used to represent two factors that cannot and will not be compromised by the members of the group.

The first is "Golden".....Matthew 5:14-16 says, “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

The second is "Lambs".....So that they may stay humble and pure in their services to God.

Gospel Concert Enterprise is looking forward to doing more with this group.
